The ski resort of Wengen offers snow-sure skiing all throughout winter thanks to the Eiger Glacier offering the colder weather enabling snowfall to remain consistent throughout the season.

Ski Area
The ski area of Wengen is part of the Jungfrau region comprises of Wengen, Grindelwald, Grindelwald-First & Murren-Schilthorn which together provides over 250km of pristine groomed slopes. The Schilthorn climbs to 2,970m providing you snow-sure conditions. Over 50 lifts service you across the different regions. You can ski from November through to April.
Getting Here
Only 2 Hours from Zurich Airport by car. You can arrive via Swiss Rail which is one very special journey to make with a couple of very simple changes along the way. If you’re driving, park in the valley and take the trian into town. If you’re arriving via Swiss Rail alreay, just hop onto the resort train in the valley and enjoy the spectacular views.
Good to Know
Wengen in my opinion, this is one of the most exciting ski regions in Europe for couples, families and groups. In Wengen and the Jungfrau region you will find ample activities to entertain you besides skiing. On the Grindelwald-Schilthorn side you have ziplines and swings and with the Jungfrau Grindelwald-Wengen you can enjoy Europe’s highest railways station, ice caves and Lindt Factory…! If you wish, you can even get the train down to Interlaken for a beautiful walk in and around the lakeside town.
